TWO GREAT WEATHER WEBSITES:)!!!

With the possibility of another 4-18" of snow, seriously I went into the WRONG career here with having to be accurate, Mr. Goering has been looking at weather websites.  He said that the one that he loved to used was taken over by another business and doesn't work the same SO he could Weather Street with he LOVES!!!!  It really is amazing.  It doesn't have "live" footage, so load time is awesome as it takes snapshots and embeds them in time frames so you can see how much precipitation fell during a certain few hours for example.  You can see the data in chart view, map view, etc.. it's AWESOME:)!!!



The OTHER one I LOVE LOVE is Windmap.  I KNOW that I have shared this one before, but it's a GEM!!  AND besides that, with the spring the way it is supposed to be, it helps to calm me just by looking at it!

I LIED!!! I TAKE THE THANK YOU TO APPLE BACK:(!!! UGH!!!

  All went well yesterday after we had done the Apple Configurator update - here were a few that we had to put into recovery mode, etc... which wasn't GREAT- but worked alright.  Students had to put in email address again as well as Schoology, no big deal.  Some lost their camera roll pictures - not the TOTAL end of the world.  But TODAY - 5 kids have LOST EVERYTHING!!! UGH!!  I don't do ANYTHING different with these iPads that I don't do with the others that have worked fine - so WHY?????????????  A senior girl and a freshman boy lost EVERYTHING!  It COMPLETELY WIPED their iPads and reinstalled ALL again - WHY???????????  I want to call Apple but I am TOO MAD to call as I wouldn't be anything tactful at all - so I sit and ponder what it might be - maybe I should use another word than Ponder, I guess they're throwing him back in next week, huh??:):)  I just don't know what to do.  AND the part that gets me the MOST is Apple KNOWS that schools across the country

More on Cyberbullying

Here's some more information regarding Cyberbullying to check out.  It's QUITE scary to think about all that children have to deal with nowadays!  The instant EVERYTHING - UGH!!  BUT, we as teachers, role models and parents can help and try to stay proactive.  Here is another link by Wiz Case to check out: A Comprehensive Cyberbullying Guide for Parents The more informed we are - the BETTER off we are as a whole.  This is such a tough and unfortunately never ending topic - good luck with this and PLEASE PLEASE share anything you have, anything you know, and keep your eyes out for all kiddos:)!!
