Hallelujah!!! We DID IT:)!!!

All I can say is THANK YOU Preston!!!  He was the Apple man that I was talking to the other day and mentioned a produce that Bretford makes - YAHOO!!!  This is what we ordered - it is called a PowerSync D20 and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT:)!!!



Not only does it work FLAWLESSLY, it takes up VERY little space and can handle all the "algorithms" that these cords have - I REALLY don't know what I'm talking about there, but I TOTALLY trust my 21 year old Apple Preston from Texas:)!!!  So for now - we are a GO!  I currently have 12th and 11th grade done and have to get 7-10 done by next Thursday - my day JUST got better because of this device!  SO NOT CHEAP as I think it was roughly $1100 but we are getting another one as you can chain them and get 40 done at a TIME! 

Now, if you have Casper you obviously don't need this as you don't use Apple Configurator, BUT if you DO use Apple Configurator - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EVEN AFTER TWO HOURS OF USE:)!!

I LIED!!! I TAKE THE THANK YOU TO APPLE BACK:(!!! UGH!!!

  All went well yesterday after we had done the Apple Configurator update - here were a few that we had to put into recovery mode, etc... which wasn't GREAT- but worked alright.  Students had to put in email address again as well as Schoology, no big deal.  Some lost their camera roll pictures - not the TOTAL end of the world.  But TODAY - 5 kids have LOST EVERYTHING!!! UGH!!  I don't do ANYTHING different with these iPads that I don't do with the others that have worked fine - so WHY?????????????  A senior girl and a freshman boy lost EVERYTHING!  It COMPLETELY WIPED their iPads and reinstalled ALL again - WHY???????????  I want to call Apple but I am TOO MAD to call as I wouldn't be anything tactful at all - so I sit and ponder what it might be - maybe I should use another word than Ponder, I guess they're throwing him back in next week, huh??:):)  I just don't know what to do.  AND the part that gets me the MOST is Apple KNOWS that sc...

More on Cyberbullying

Here's some more information regarding Cyberbullying to check out.  It's QUITE scary to think about all that children have to deal with nowadays!  The instant EVERYTHING - UGH!!  BUT, we as teachers, role models and parents can help and try to stay proactive.  Here is another link by Wiz Case to check out: A Comprehensive Cyberbullying Guide for Parents The more informed we are - the BETTER off we are as a whole.  This is such a tough and unfortunately never ending topic - good luck with this and PLEASE PLEASE share anything you have, anything you know, and keep your eyes out for all kiddos:)!!
