Weather Delay - NO!!!

   Well - with the coming skating rink roads and snow maybe - today's iPads didn't go as planned so I'm backed up a little bit again:(!!!  I will finish up with the freshman class on Monday and then start with 6th grade - hopefully I will get that ALL done on Monday - we will see;)!!
   It has been a smooth sail ride today - time consuming - but has gone well.  I appreciate Mrs. Olson SO MUCH!!  She has really done a great job while allowing me to jump into her library and space - THANK YOU:)!!!  She is also a GREAT resource for people as things come up - I show her - so she is able to help kids just the same - LOVE IT:)!!
  I also want to THANK YOU staff for all your patience and understanding through all this madness!  It's hard to teach without the iPads when you have relied on them since September - YES YES YES:)!!  I am glad that SO many of you use them daily and often!

I APPRECIATE YOU ALL AND THE TIME, WORK AND COMMITMENT YOU HAVE SHOWN ALWAYS - the BEST STAFF EVER!!!!:):):)

I LIED!!! I TAKE THE THANK YOU TO APPLE BACK:(!!! UGH!!!

  All went well yesterday after we had done the Apple Configurator update - here were a few that we had to put into recovery mode, etc... which wasn't GREAT- but worked alright.  Students had to put in email address again as well as Schoology, no big deal.  Some lost their camera roll pictures - not the TOTAL end of the world.  But TODAY - 5 kids have LOST EVERYTHING!!! UGH!!  I don't do ANYTHING different with these iPads that I don't do with the others that have worked fine - so WHY?????????????  A senior girl and a freshman boy lost EVERYTHING!  It COMPLETELY WIPED their iPads and reinstalled ALL again - WHY???????????  I want to call Apple but I am TOO MAD to call as I wouldn't be anything tactful at all - so I sit and ponder what it might be - maybe I should use another word than Ponder, I guess they're throwing him back in next week, huh??:):)  I just don't know what to do.  AND the part that gets me the MOST is Apple KNOWS that sc...

More on Cyberbullying

Here's some more information regarding Cyberbullying to check out.  It's QUITE scary to think about all that children have to deal with nowadays!  The instant EVERYTHING - UGH!!  BUT, we as teachers, role models and parents can help and try to stay proactive.  Here is another link by Wiz Case to check out: A Comprehensive Cyberbullying Guide for Parents The more informed we are - the BETTER off we are as a whole.  This is such a tough and unfortunately never ending topic - good luck with this and PLEASE PLEASE share anything you have, anything you know, and keep your eyes out for all kiddos:)!!
